    John White and Simon Fernandez left Roanoke Island to get more supplies. They arrived in England to find out Spain had invaded England. After 2 years White came back to Roanoke Island, but nobody was there! The word “CROATOAN” was carved on a tree. They called the settlement “The Lost Colony”.
