Otto von Bismark was encharged of the cabinet of Prussia, he believed that people should hold authority in their country. He created a strong Army at first but the parliament denied him the money so he just took it and did not respect the constitution. -

Napoleon III of france formed an alliance with the new nation of italy. This caused Austria to declare war on Prussia in 1866. Prusssia forces took advantage of technology and defeated Austria in only seven weeks. -
The Franco-Prussian war
To complete the Unification of Germany Bismarck persuade independents states in southern Germany to join northGerman confederation. in 1870 they declare war on Prussia. Prussia defeated france in a few months. -
Unification of the German Empire
The German empire was one of the most powerful industrial economies in the world. Prussia and Germany came togeter to create the Greman empire in 1871.
