The Danish War
The Danish war involved Denmark, Prussia, and Austria. The war started when King Christian IX took the danish throne. He issued a new constitution that most didn't like. Prussia and Austria demanded that the King revoke it. When the King denied it, they declared war. The war only lasted a few months. -
The Seven Weeks' War
Also known as the Austro-Prussian War. War was between Prussia and Austria. Bismark was preparing to conflict with Austria because Prussia was becoming larger. Bismark told the king of France to stay neutral, and made an allience with Italy. Bismark ten persuaded Austria to declare war on Prussia. -
The Franco-Prussian War
Even though they had a name, Germany was more of an empire at this time. There were a lot of countries that were considered Germany. Bismark wanted any country that wasnt in Germany to move to Germany. His time came when he recieved a telegram from Prussian King, King William. he edited the telegram to make it sound like Prussia had insulted France so that they were forced out of there. When France heard the telegram, they started the war.
