Trading Stops with Britan
British ports shut their doors to all US ships. (End date is unclear) -

Spain Closes Mississippi
Spain closes the lower Mississippi for trading problems. Unfourtonatly most US ships from the south must pass through the Mississippi Delta. The US atempets to negotiate with Spain but without one set leader Spain cuts the negotiations short. (End date is unclear) -
Land Ordinance
Since the Articles of Connfederation didn't allow states to tax citizens directly, states decided to sell land west of the Mississippi to generate revenue. Plan for selling land areas at right. -
Shays' Rebellion
Daniel Shays, a Revolutionary War veteren, gathers a group of farmers to begen a revolt to shut down the states courts. With out the courts no one's proberty could be taken as a tax. After the rebellion most rebles were sentenced to death, but most were pardoned. -
Constitution Signed
The Conntinentel Congress signs the first US Constitution.
