From March until June several acts are passed allowing the British to control the colonist. These acts are seen as an intorable abuse of power. -
The First Continental Congress
From September 5 through October 26 the First Continental Congress meets in Philadelphia. The Congress declared to boycott British goods until the Intolerable Acts were rescinded. -
