Drive ins and fast food hit on popularity in the 1950's. They were around since probably the late 30's. Dirve ins is what movie theaters are today, except drive ins were outside and you would watch a movie in your car overseeing a really big screen. Fast food was actually ''fast food", food made fast and sold for cheap. Drive ins like Sonic still exist today except theres no theaters its just pickin up fast food. -
