Changchun is the capital of the Chinese province Jilin. It's northeast of Beijing. -
Arrived in the United States
Also had my first sip of coffee in an airport along the way. -
Moved to Stillwater, OK
Came all the way from St. Paul, MN in a banged up Mazda that's older than me. -
Joined Girl Scouts
For the record, I didn't join just because of the cookies. -
Visited China
Got to see my extended family. Went to amusement parks, bought some cool stuff, and ate good food. -
OSSM Math Contest Finals
1st place out of 6th grade girls in my division, 3rd place overall in my division. In 7th grade, 1st out of 7th grade girls in my division, 1st place overall in my division. 8th grade, 1st out of 8th grade girls in my division, 3rd overall with the top three all from Stillwater. -
Took SAT for Duke TIP
1850 in 7th grade - not the best, but good enough to get me into nerd camp. -
Bought a Cello
Used to rent one, but now I've got my very own. -
More Competitions
Geometry, yay. 1st place. Indah got 2nd with Nathan at 3rd. Stillwater sweep. Also participated in an American History compeition in which I apparently got 7th. Most of it was over World War II, which we didn't learn back in 8th grade US History. -
Braces go Poof
Got my braces off after two years and a half. Started way back on August 19, 2008. -
Took ACT for the First Time
Hope I got a high score. -
3 Weeks of Summer Camp
Spent three weeks with people too intelligent for their own good while taking a not-really-literature-yet-is-literature class at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. First time I got to fly in a plane without anyone I know aboard. -
Get my Driver's License

Graduate from High School
I don't intend to drop out anyway. -
Off to College
People with college degrees get payed more and have better jobs than those who don't. Or so they tell me.
