Sugar Act
Great Britian's Parliament issued a tax on certin wines, sugar, coffee, and molasses. Those taxes were given to the British troops as thier pay during their time of survice. Many of the conlonist did not like this idea. -
Stamp Act
A new tax was imposed by the Parliament in Great Britian requireing the colonist to pay a tax on all printed paper they used. -
Boston Massacre
British troops started fireing upon colinist that were antagonizing them. -
Tea Act
The Tea act was the final spark that made the coloinst very upset with Great Britian. They were taxing imported tea from around the globe. Colonist became angry with this, some dressed as Indians and dumped the boxes of tea into the Boston Harbour, to show how they felt about the taxation on tea. -

American colonist dumped tea over board into the Boston habor, because Great Britian was taxing them on imported tea. -
First Continental Congress
55 deligates of the 13 colonies came together to discuss issues around their colonies. -
Lexington and Concord
Thomas Gage sent out 7,000 soldiers to collect guns and amo that were being stored within the cities. Also there were arrest warrents out for the arrest of Samual Adams and John Hancock. -
Second Continental Congress
The congress came together again to disuss the ideas on how to manage the Revolution. They were working for the Independence of their country. -
Battle of Bunkerhill
British took over Bunker Hill. This was the first action the the contential army has seen. -

Paine spoke to the common Americans about what was going on during the Revolution. He thought if we asked for independence from Great Britian openly we wouldn't have to go through what they were going though then.. -

General Burgoyne surrenders, France and Spain declare war on British and American troops. Effort was galvanized. -
Valley Forge
Valley forge was a systematic training regine transformed ragged amateur into the Contintal Army. It was also a military orginization that was created to defeat the "red coats" in a open feild battle. -
Battle of Yokrtown
Capitulation of British soldiers to the Americans. French creates a Peace Treaty of Chesapeke., on October 24th -
