  • Phonograph 1877

    The phonograph was invented by Thomas Edison in 1877 was used as a record player, for home purposes.
  • Gramophone 1887

    the gramophone, invented by Emile Berliner, was an advancement of Thomas Edison's phonograph. It was an improved version and worked better and took up less space.
  • Kodak Roll Film Camera

    Kodaks first camera witha roll film, revolutionized cameras forever, and could now take more than one shot, unlike previous models of cameras in this time period.
  • Direct Dial Telephone.

  • Answering Machine.

    The first ever answering machine was invented, not automatic like the model that came after this one, but now if you werent home you got the message that was to be delivered with the call anyway.
  • First Cross Atlantic radio signal

    This was the first ever radio signal to be sen across the Atlantic Ocean, which at the time was considered impossible and now led to major communication advances between countries, exspecially the U.S and Great Britian.
  • First Talking Movie

    The Warner Brothers, had a great idea, why not record sound to go with a movie, but on seperate roll. That way they could match the sound with the motions, and talking so therefore we have the first ever talking motion picture.
  • Walkmans

    The first ever portable music player, mostly casseste players. They made listening to music a dream. At first they were big in size. Then they came out with the Cd version of a walkman, which was barely bigger than the siz of a cd, and about the thickneess of a wallet.
  • Apple iPod

    Apple corperation came out with the iPod, Which has been steadily upgraded through the genrations. There are many kinds and sizes, some the size of phones, others the size of a 50 cent piece, which is a more modern version of the Walkman, but now you dont have to have a Cd or Cassette.
  • 3D televisions.

    With the Television being around sine the mid 20th century, now comes a new age of tv, a tv with a POP. Now instead of going to a theatre to watch 3D movies, you can now watch 3D shows/movies from your couch, whats better than having a show pop out at you? nothing in my view.
