    This is when I had said my first word which then led to the start of my vocabulary.
  • Kindergarten

    This is when my vocabulary had started to develop, learning words and how to develop sentences.
  • Kindergarten Reading Groups

    Kindergarten Reading Groups
    We had started reading groups that required me to take home and complete for homework but I would not practice at home which brought me to below grade level impacting my reading and literacy skills down.
  • Fourth Grade

    Fourth Grade
    I had finally started reading and practicing at home which then led me to be able to move up levels in reading and writing.
  • Fifth Grade

    Fifth Grade
    Testing and practicing in order to be placed in middle school had begun, which then lead me to not only practice but then later be placed in on level English.
  • Sixth Grade

    Sixth Grade
    This was the grade when my love for books had sprouted leaving me to read all kinds of books which then lead to me expanding my vocabulary and understanding of literature.
  • Seventh Grade

    Seventh Grade
    In this grade level, I was moved up in my placement for English leaving me to be in advance. During this class, I had gained more knowledge in English and was able to advance my technique in writing.
  • High School

    Around this time I kept improving my language and reading skills being able to advance into honors English.
  • Senior Year

    Senior Year
    This was the school year I had got into dual enrollment, I started college classes more specifically I had to complete prerequisites before entering English 121 due to not doing so well in the placement tests.

    In college, I had been able to expand my vocabulary and technique in writing essays due to my gradual increase in classes I take. I had even been able to complete English 121 with a high grade.
