This book displays a look into Hitler's youth/childhood, his early days in the Nazi party, his future plans for Germany, and his opinions on politics and race. This is important because it gave him the chance to advertise his strong opinions through a book, with the hope of gaining power through agreement over the opinions on Jewish people. -
Hitler becomes Chancellor of Germany
Hitler became the Chancellor of Germany which was not supported by the majority of the German population, although the Nazi's took over 37% of the votes. This position landed Hitler in a more powerful position for making decisions. -
Rome-Berlin Axis Treaty
An agreement that was formed in 1936 between Italy and Germany, which was later formalized by the Pact of Steel which included Japan, aswell. This is important because Germany now has alliances which furthers Hitler's/the nations strength. -
Munich Conference is Held
Adolf Hitler wanted to seize the Sudetenland which was in Czechoslovakia, although was populated with Germans and significant resources. This conference gained Hitler the Germany territory in Czechoslovakia, allowing for more control over more places. -
Germany Invades Czechoslovakia
Hitler invades Czechoslovakia to take over remaining territory, breaking the Munich Agreement which shows others involved his selfishness and need for power. This is important because Hitler has now gained more land in Czech, and proved that he does not need to follow any guidelines on where and where he can't control. -
Nazi's invade Poland
Germany invaded Poland and defeated them within a few weeks. This led Britian and France to declare war on Germany on September 3, 1939.
