  • The Decisions

My decision to lift and my brother's decision to work out.
  • My Decision Making Process

I did this to get stronger. The book says that, " Learning from experience is important to continuous improvement and effectiveness"(10). I learned many things from lifting class that will lead to my future improvement.
  • My Brother's Decision Making Process

My brother decided to work out to lose weight. His outcome was less pounds and more self esteem. The book says that, "Maintaining self-esteem also may cause decision makers to attribute good outcomes to their actions and bad outcomes to factors outside their control"(11). So he may feel really good but not lost as many pounds as he would've wanted.
  • Effectiveness

Both my brother's decision as well as my decision were effective because we both got the outcome we had planned to receive.
  • Looking Back

As the book says, "Often [people] can learn lessons that will benefit future decisions"(11). We both learned a lot and both of us will use our new found knowledge to increase the effectiveness of our future goals.
