  • 3.1 Imaginary Audience

For me growing up I always felt like people were watching my family and I whenever we were in public. In my hometown my family is the only one around that is deaf, so when we go in public I used to feel like all eyes were on us. This to me is a perfect example of imaginary audience; by how I thought all eyes were on us when that was not always the case. This helped my formal cognition thinking development as I analysed why I wasnt signing in public. Then started not caring waht others thought.
  • Adolesence 1.1

When I got my first job is when I think I transistioned into Adolesence as it was my first time dealing with adults and how my work can truly affect others I work with. It taught me how to being apart of a team is not just for sports but for life as well.
  • 3.3 Self-Consciousness

Im really not sure how to describe myself acturately. I usually lean on my friends for ideas on how I should handle situations. I just wanna be like everyone around me. Do I look okay? Im not sure if this outfit goes with these shoes..Honestly I know my friends always have my back and give me the best advice.
  • 3.2 Differentiation

When I'm at home, Im the good kid, the one who does all my homework and passes my classes. At school, Im that quiet kid who always had the headphones blasting in their ear. With friends, Im usually the loudest of the group, the one who makes a fool out of themseleves and everyone around them. I know I act different when I am in different settings. I just think its that certian places require certian actions. Im somewhat ok with that.
  • 4.2 Non-Gender typed behavior

The school I attended for highschool had an electic student body to say the least. One thing that happened often in the highways were fights. While many were by boys, we also had a good number of females who got into fights as well. These girls were never afaraid to show their agressive side and did what they believed was proving thier pride to others.
  • 4.1 Gender-typed Behavior

In high school before class we had about 30-45 min when the buses dropped us off for "breakfast", during this time agroup of my close friends used to sit around the cafeteria table and have good chats. This as an example of rapport talk as we usually joked around and got closeer throughout the years. By senior year I the group I ended up with were all females. So this demostrated how we followed the gener norms.
  • 1.2 Emerging Adulthood

When I became financially independent from my parents. Also first time to be away from family for the entire summer. This taught me how to be independent and not to always rely on someone when you can figure it out on your own. Also I know that Im not fully gorwn by the least but to me this started to chnage my thinking of more of an adult. THis is because of how I have to think about if things are worth it or to just let it go like an adult would.
