Start of the Middle Ages
In European history, the Middle Ages, or Medieval period, lasted from the 5th to the 15th century. It began with the collapse of the Western Roman Empire and merged into the Renaissance and the Age of Discovery. -
French Revolution
The French Revolution is a period in the History of France, covering the years 1789-1799, in which the monarchy was overthrown by citizens of France. The citizens of France were sick and tired of living in tiny little houses with other families while the king and queen were living in huge quarters as big where over 50 families would live. The people killed the king and queen and a few others. The French Revolution was a part of the significant period of the social and political distribution. -

It took more than a year for the East India Establishment to reclaim the control of their country which was overruled by Brittan during the Sepoy Mutiny. In the beginning of the mutiny India thought that Brittan were sending troops in to help them. In 1858, the British government took direct control of India. This was the period of time during Queen Victoria’s reign. -
Australian Federation
Before the 1900’s Australia was not a nation. Australia was a part of six other British colonies. These colonies were partly self-governing but the law stated that they were still under the power of the British government. Throughout the 1890s governments of the colonies came together at special conferences called constitutional conventions to draft a constitution which would unite the colonies as one nation and provide a new national government. -
Brittan declares war on Germany
On August 4th 1914, Great Britain declared war on Germany. It was a decision that has thought to be the start of World War One. Britain decided to declare war because Germany has denied Britain’s request to give them the same assurance as Germany give to Belgium.
