cubiods and nets
On tuesday the 15th we drew three different types of cubiod nets and we also converted 3d shapes into the net for the shapes. we also had to think about how the nets folded mentally. -
Accurate nets
On wednesday the 16th we drew nets of cubiods but we checked the nets very carefully to make sure we had got the dimensions perfect. -
Reflective symettry
On wednesday the 30th of january we learnt how to draw complex symectrical shapes. We did this without a mirror so it was a bit more challenging. -
Enlarge with centre of enlargement
We started to use enlargement in our work today with a centre to enlarge the shape from. It seemed a bit weird changing a shape at first but i got the hang of it quite quickly. -
Enlargements with centre 1/2
Today we used our enlargement skills but to make shapes smaller. This was a bit harder than making shapes bigger but i got the hang of it and quite liked it. -
Tetris with a twist
Today we did tetris but we used our rotation and reflection skills to show how we built up the tetris wall. We also used coordinates to show the shapes movement. -
Line of fit
Today we were learning how to draw a line of best fit on scatter graphs . This helped us to work out averages. -
Zombie hunting
Today we were zombie hunting in our village and people had quated that they had seen zombies difeerent distances away from the shelter. We had to plot on a graph how far away they had seen them and how many of the there was. Then once we had got the results we drew a line of best fit and answered some questions on it.
