    - The era is the 1920's

    - There wasnt just one designer, however the main designers were: Bouffant. Coco Chanel, Jeanne Lanvin and Jean Patou.
    •some key features
    - The key features about this era was that most dresses were flapper dresses, they often included feathers, beads and sequins and were also black and white.
    •what inspired the development
    - The 1920's fashion was evolved between both of the world wars and countries wanted a change.

    - Main designers in this decade were Elsa Schiaparelli and Madeleine Vionnet.

    - Most women wore elegant outfits including: gloves, knee length dresses, hats and small bags.

    - As this was the year of the depression, designers kept each look very simple.

    - high waisted trend started, knee length skirts worn with blazers and hats were also worn.

    - Outfits werent as creative in this era as it was during a world war and most designers shut down their buissness' during this time.

    - main key features were big petticoats, full looking skirts and floral patterns.

    - World War II had ended by this decade so once finished we started to see more colour being used and worn.

    - Skirts became shorter in this era making stockings popular, colour was also being used more and more.

    - As time went on designers decided fashion should too, therefore hemlines were raising and daring fashions were being worn.

    - mid thigh skirts and shorts, bell bottomed, frayed jeans, kaftans, tie die and indian inspire scarves were all worn.

    - Hippy fashion was very in, in this season. It was casual and colourful.

    - Tight clothing, metalic colours, leg warmers, sweat bands and tracksuits were all the rage in the 80's. Colour was also used and odd patterns were often worn together.

    - Most clothing choices were inspired by sports teams and sports people. Tracksuits and work out gear was worn daily.

    Denim was very big in the 90's, denim was worn in the form of a top, jacket, pants, dresses, skirts or shorts. Often plain white T-shirts were paired with denim.

    - In the 90's TV shows were big influces ecspecially "Friends" and "90210"

    - Cropped clothing, revealing dresses and tight outfits are often worn.

    - Often in the 2000's old fashions from previous decades are brought back but with a modern twist.
