The battle of Los Alamos was fought in San Antonio de Bexar, Now known as San Antonio, Texas on February 23,1836 - March 6, 1836. Also a national laboratory in Los Alamos, Mexico was the location were they designed nuclear weapons for the Manhattan Project.

Annexation Of Sudetenland
The annexation of Sudetenland was prepared by the Sudeten Germans who responded by increasing approval to the Nazi party. The Sudeten Nazis increased their activities which were aimed to unite the Sudetenland with Germany. In conclusion France and Great Britain rearranged to meet with Germany and Italy where they gave to an ultimatum to Czechoslovakia to give up the Sudetenland to Germany.

Pearl Harbor
On December 7, 1941, hundreds of Japanese's fighter planes destroyed nearly 20 American naval vessels, eight battleships and over 300 hundred airplanes. Many Americans died that day including civilians and many others were wounded. The day after the attack President Roosevelt declared war on Japan.

Island Hopping
After the battle of Midway, the Allied powers decided to use a military strategy called "Island Hopping" in the Pacific war against the Empire of Japan and the Axis powers. The main focus was to invade Japan by attacking island by island by using submarines and air attacks to isolate and blockade Japanese bases.

The battle of Guadalcanal started in August, 1942 and ended on February 9, 1943. This battle was the first major offensive and victory for the Allies in the Pacific theater. By the end of the battle it was known that the Japanese had taken the greater loss.

Battle of Midway
The Battle of Midday was a battle between the U.S Navy and the Imperial Japanese Navy that resulted in the attacking of Pearl Harbor. The Japanese Navy would send communication codes but soon the U.S. Navy was able to break these codes and was prepared for the attack on Midway which led to the U.S. Navy victory.

Death of Hitler
Hitler decided to put and end to his life after Germany unconditionally surrendered to the Allied powers. But before he committed suicide he marries his mistress, Eva Braun. He also said his farewells to Joseph Goebbels and leaving him as chancellor, he also said his goodbyes to many others that were with him that day.

Hiroshima
The Potsdam conference was made to give Japan an ultimatum, either surrender or suffer full destruction. They did not surrender so the United States dropped the first atomic bomb made four days after in Hiroshima, Japan. The explosion cause 90 percent of the city to disappear and killed 80,000 people in an instant.
