Japan bombs Pearl Harbor in an attempt to destroy the US naval fleet. Many battleships were destroyed and Japan became dominant for a short period. -
Germany Surrenders
The Allies and the Soviet Union attack Germany from both sides leaving them no where to escape. Hitler then commits suicide and Germany is forced to surrender. -
United Nations formed
United Nations were created by FDR, Churchill, and Stalin. The United Nations were created so no big war like this would happen again and to keep peace. -
Allies use atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki
US realized that they would risk a lot of lives if they sent in troops to Japan. The US then threatens the Japan with nukes and when they don't respond the US bombs them.
