    Attack of Manchuria
    The Japanese invasion of Manchuria began on September 18, 1931. It all started when the Kwantung Army of Japan, invaded Manchuria after the Mukden incident. The Japanese then created a puppet state called Manchukuo. This lasted until the end of World War II.

    Nuremburg laws were atisematic laws in Nazi Germany.They were introduced on September 15 1935. The laws were for the protection of German Blood and German Honour.

    On November 9, 1938 a pogrom against Jews throughout Nazi Germany and Austria. It was carried out by SA paramilitary forces and German civilians.

    On May 22, 1939 an alliance with Italy and Germany was formed. It initially included Japan but at the time Japan was focused on the Soviet Union.

    On September 17th, 1939 Stalin began to invade Poland. He sent soviet troops to occupy eastern Poland. He began annexing parts of the agrement that was made with Poland.

    On September 17 1939, the Soviet Union invaded E. Poland. The invasion led to the Soviet Union getting all of East Poland. It finally ended on October 6, 1939.

    Was enacted by Congress on May 10 1941. It allowed the president to sell, transfer, lend, or lease war supplies to American allies during world war ii.

    On June 22 1941, the Nazis invaded the soviet Union. This operation was driven by Hitler, he wanted to conquer all of the Soviet territory. The invasion ended on January 7, 1942.

    On August 14, 1941 the Atlantic Carter was released. It was a joint declaration released by president Franklin D. Roosevelt and the British Prime Minister. The document provided a statement of U.S. and British war aims.

    On December 7, 1941 the attack on Pearl Harbor occured. It was a surprise military strike by the Japanese Navy against the United States naval base at Pearl Harbor.

    On February 19, 1942 was forced during World War II. President D. Roosevelt ordered incarceration shortly after Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor. Eventually the internment ended on June 30, 1946.

    The Battle of Midway started on June 3, 1942. The United States Navy defeated a Japanese attack against Midway. This marked a turning point in the war. The battle ended on Jue 7, 1942.

    D-Day occured on June 6, 1944, the day the Allied powers crossed the English Channel and landed on the beaches of Normandy France. It is the longest seaborne invasion in history.

    On May 7 1945, Germany decided to surrender in World War II. They surrendered because the soviets were approaching the capital from the east and west. They had no other option but to surrender.

    On August 6, 1945 the bombing of Hiroshima occured. It was the first of 2 bombings that the US did. It then led to another bombing from the US a few days later in Nagasaki.

    On August 9, 1945 the US dropped a nuclear weapon on Nagasaki in Japan. Both of the bombings together killed over 100,000 people. It was one of the final stages of World War II.

    The Japanese surrendered officially on September 2, 1945. The Japanese were just no longer able to keep up in the war. By surrendering, it started bringing the hostilities of World War II.
