America deployed the first atomic bomb in the morning of August Sixth. The explosion killed 80 thousand people upon impact, and killed more due to the radiation poisining caused by the B-29. -
Atomic Bomb is Dropped in Nagasaki
On August Eighth, 3 days after the previous explosion, America dropped a second nuclear warhead on Japan. The two bombings combined killed at least 129,000 people. -
Japan Surrenders
After the devistating events of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the government of Japan officially surrendered. This officially put a close to World War 2.
