    Hitler was dead, and this was almost the end of the war. The fall of Germany was a great Allie success, and it was made possible by the combined force of France, Britain, the US, and Russia,

    This was a major display of US power. The atomic bomb helped strengthen our worldwide position and prove we were a superpower. It also ended the war against Japan. More then 500,000 lives were lost from one of these bombs.

    This was a new organization made to prevent another world war from happening. It is a major improvement over the League of Nations, though it still does not have much power.
