Prior to D-Day, the allies used fake equipment and weapons to deceive the Germans of where there was a threat. -

The "Big Three" met again close to Berlin to discuss the end of WWII. Truman learned the atomic bombs were ready and issued the Potsdam Declaration. -
Bombing of Hiroshima
An atomic bomb was dropped on the city of Hiroshima, Japan. It instantly killled 80,000 people and more later due to radiation. It also wiped out 90% of the city.
