Hitler becomes Chancellor of Germany
Germans didn't want Hitler for chancellor but Franz Von Papen convinced the German president to put Hitler as the Chancellor. He became chancellor because all the pre-chancellors didn't know how to take care so the president had to choose him. 1st Liberation of Concentration Camps
The SS began evacuate the Auschwitz camp because the Soviet Union started approaching. The prisoners had to march west from the camp. Thousands died before this march began.

Italy surrenders to Allies
Dwight Eisenhower surrendered. Germany then decided to invade Italy because their allies won't do anything.

Germany invades Poland- WWII begins
The german Luftwaffe bombed Polish airplanes. German warships and U-boats attack Poland;s marine in the Baltic Sea. Hitler said that they attacked Poland because they were defending themselves. Italy enters war
italy didn't want to be in the war but U.S. and Britain decided to attack Italy. Italy did a campaign to prevent the communist party to take over. A democratic republic is made and they gained more communists.

Battle of Britain
German and British air forces shot at the U.K. and threw bombs at it. When Britain won, it saved itself from invasion. Germany decided to take down the air force first then attack Britain. Although Germany had more planes, Britain still manage to defeat Germany.

Axis Powers break Non-Aggression Pact
The Nazi and the Soviet Union signed the Pact which said that none of the 2 countries are going to attack each other for the next 10 years. Stalin signed the Pact because he wanted to have peace with Germany until he builds his military. The German forces attacked the Soviet Union when the Pact fell apart.

Attack on Pearl Harbor
When Japan surprisingly attacked the U.S. navy's base, they destroyed most of the American Pacific Fleet. When the president declared war on Japan, the Congress approved. japan, Italy, and Germany then turn all against the U.S> which made it to be in WWII

Filipino and American troops marched all the way to prison camps under the extreme heat. Thousands died then it became known as the Bataan Death March.

The Japanese wanted to control the Coral Sea by invading Port Moresby. However, their plans were ruined by American planes. When the Japanese landed, they were under attack and got defeated.

Winston Churchill becomes leader of British Government
He becomes Prime Minister because of the last one's departure. He made an all-party alliance and directly won the Britains' support. He defended the action after a speech in the House of Commons. Someone refuses to join the government because Churchill was in it so he had to quit.
