First Attacks on France

Italy Joins the Fight
France was on the verdge of collapse. Benito Mussolini of Italy joined Hitler and his army, and so Italy declaired war on France and Britian.

Trying to Take Over the Soviet Union
On June 22, 1941 Hitler decided to try his luck against the Soviet Union. The Germans surprise invasion helped the Nazi army to get 200 miles in to Moscow by mid-July.

Attack of Pearl Harbour
On Decenber 7, 1941, 360 Japanese aircrafts attacked a major U.S. Navy Base, Pearl Harbour in Hawaii. The Japanese took out the bigger threat the U.S. had, The USS Arizona.
The next day, Germany and the other Axis power declared war with the U.S.A.

Ending of WWII
On June 6, 1944 (D-Day) 156,000 British, Canadian and American soilders landed on the beach of Normandy, France. Hitler poured all the remaining soilders to the west side to try and stop them. Once that ended the remaining American, British and Canadian followed Hittler back. Germany and most of the Axis power surrendered affter Hitler commited suicide on April 30, 1945.

The Drop of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on Japan Cities
Japan did not want to stop fighting after Hitlers death. This led to the U.S. inventing the Atomic bomb. 2 were droped on 2 different cities in Japan in the course of 2 months (April-May 1945). This made the Japanese surrender a couple months later in September.
