    Germany and Britain fought over Britain using jets and planes to fight.

    This allowed the U.S. to lend or lease war supplies to any nation.

  • Germans Invade Soviet Union -Operation Barbarossa

    Germany invaded the Soviet Union, it failed because of the harsh winters of Russia which they were unprepared for.

  • Battle of the Bulge

    The last offensive German campaign in the Ardennes forest.

  • Normandy. Campaign - D-Day - Operation Overlord

    The U.S. wanted to start a two-front war, making Germany fight in two different places. The U.S. did this by storming the beaches of Normandy.

    A meeting of all the European leaders to plan the change of Europe after WW2.

  • Iwo Jima campaign

    The U.S defeated Japan on the island of Iwo Jima, capturing it.

  • Japanese surrender

    The U.S dropped atomic bombs on two Japanese cities, causing Japan to surrender, ending WW2.
