    IN August of 1945, the US dropped their first atomic bomb of the city of Hiroshima. The aftermath was deadly. It killed thousands of people upon impact and it also killed people after due to radiation. Then, three days after the Hiroshima bombing, the US dropped a second bomb on Nagasaki, which caused Japan to surrender in WWII.

    In May of 1945, Germany finally surrendered to the Allies at their headquarters in France. After Hitler and Germany surrendered, Hitler commited suicide which fully put an end to WWII.
