    On 1915 the Germans started the first gas attack with a gas called mustard gas. It was first used against the French. The gas was in canisters that were placed on the ground then opened. after they were opened the gas would be blown by the wind into the lungs of unsuspecting soldiers.

    The Zimmerman Telegram was sent by the Germans on January 1917. it was intercepted by British agents and the telegram said that in the event if America joins the war that Mexico will help them defeat the Americans.

    US entered WWI mostly because of five reasons.The first reason is that the Lusitania was sunken by Germans and 128 Americans were lost.The second reason is that the Germans sank the Sussex which was unarmed.The third reason is that the Germans tried to conspire with Mexico in the Zimmerman Telegram.The fourth and final reason was that Russia had a revolution and overthrew the government and on March 1917 the Germans attacked and sank four American Merchant Ships.

    The Russian Revolution overthrew the current czar back then. It was led by the Bolsheviks which was led by Vladimir Lenin. They overthrew the Government because they were fighting against autocracy.

    The Treaty of Versailles had 15 parts and 440 articles. It had changed German boundaries. The Germans could have only up to 100,000 men in and 6 navy ships in its military it took place in the Hall of mirrors in the Palace of Versailles. It also made countries pay reparations to the countries that made the Entente Powers.
