Germans Fire Chlorine Gas
The Germans get mad that the Allies are getting closer so they came up with chlorine gas. This is the first time gas is used in battle, although Germany doesn't get to take advantage of the breach. -
Lusitania is Sunk
Germany sinks one of the larger Passenger Ships sent out. There was 1,198 people in the Ship, and 128 of them were american's. Parts of the remains were later found 20+ years later. -
Germany Limits the submarines
The way Germany reacts to the national outage of the sinking if many passenger ships and other aquatic transportation is strange. They attempt to keep the United States out of the war, but it severely hampers German efforts to prevent American supplies from getting to France and Britain.
