The battle started February 21 and ended December 18. the French where on the defensive as the Germans were on the offensive. the battle was very bloody with many casualties. -

The Zimmerman Telegram sent by Germany to Mexico to offer a reward for joining their side of the war. but it was intersected by the British and they showed it to us. -

The second battle of Marne was won by the allies causing Germany to lose hope in their last battle. -

After Germany lost they signed a treaty to end the war. The treaty included that Germany would pay for the war and that Germany would be restricted on the size and power of the military.
