    About 1 million German troops invaded Poland along the 1,750 border that was German-territory, Hitler did it because it was a defensive attack he claims. Hitler set this out for more living space for the German people. This made Britain and France declare war on Germany on September 3.

    The Germans took over France, the Allies were waiting on material aid from the American, but the US Secretary of State Cordell Hull disagreed with the announcement. The German soldiers destroyed the Allies with the mobile operations

    Great Britain and Germany were in conflict with each other. Germany bombed many regions of Great Britain. Germany's main goal was to make Great Britain surrender to them.

    Great Britain was running out of war supplies so Churchill asked FDR (U.S) for help. So the president made an agreement with Britain on the war supplies issue. The U.S gave and lended naval ships and war supplies to them in return when war was over they would get reimbursed.

    A U.S station in Hawaii was attacked by Japanese forces. They were Japanese kamikazes and plane fighters. About 2,450 soldiers were killed in the attack, it damaged everything from battleships to fighter planes.

    The fight between the U.S and Japan led to the end of the war. The U.S dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This would lead to the the Cold War
