    Annexation of Sudetenland
    Leaders from Britain, France Italy and Germany met to discuss Germany's demands for the Sudetenland. The Sudetenland was a province in Northern Czechoslovakia that bordered Germany. An agreement was met and Sudetenland was annexed to Czechoslovakia, This agreement was called the Munich Pact.

  • Pearl Harbor

    Pearl Harbor
    Pearl Harbor was a U.S. naval base in Honolulu Hawaii. The attack was early in the morning when Japanese fighter jets descended down to the base and destroyed nearly 20 ships and more than 300 planes. Many lives were lost that day. The next day Congress approved Roosevelt's declaration of war against Japan.
