    archduke ferdinand and his wife was visiting bosnia and archduke was assassinated

  • WW1 starts

    WW1 started after a chain of events after archduke was assassinated

  • battle of Tannenberg

    this was one of the first battles of WW1 this was between russia and germany both sides lost a lot of men and equipment germany won.

  • battle of marne

    stopped germany from raiding france and a lot of people died and france had the victory.

  • the battle of gallipoli

    most of the allied powers wanted to beat up the ottoman empire one of germany's allies
  • The sinking of lusitania

    The sinking of lusitania

    The ship was carrying war supplies for WW1 when a german ship sank lusitania.And this made america mad. (Fun fact it took 18 minutes to sink)

  • battle of jutland

    it was the biggest ship battle of WW1 british won and about 250 ships was destroyed

  • the zimmermann telegram

    this was germany asking mexico to have a border war with the usa and if they won WW1 they would get texas new mexico and arizona back

  • Us joins the battle of WW1

    the us was mad that a lot of ships were being destroyed and then they knew germany was the enemy

  • WW1 end

    germany surrendered and that was the cause of WW1 ending
