  • Austria-Hungary demands Serbia to arrest the Black Hand

    Austria-Hungary finds out who the hitmen were and that The Black Hand was behind the assassination of the Archduke
  • Austria-Hungary declares war on Serbia

  • Moltke orders the Schlieffen Plan to proceed

    Schlieffen's plan involved using 90% of Germany's armed forces to attack France. Fearing the French forts on the border with Germany, Schlieffen suggested a scythe-like attack through Holland, Belgium and Luxembourg.
