If the Mexicans Accepted the Americans wouldn't know, so the Mexicans would have an open door on our back side. -
The Mexicans Attack
The Americans would be ambush the Americans probably attack from Taxes and spread outward towards California, this would be known as the "Mexican offensive". -

The End
In the end, the Americans would hold a great defense from the ongoing attacks ageist the Mexicans, at this point WW1 is won over by the Germans, BUT the remaining British forces would make the daring journey to America and with their weapons and the extra numbers, they would use encirclement tactics learned from the Germens, to push the Mexicans back (Maybe). or they still break through and we loss. But if the win is confirmed they might be able to recover and attack the enemy again.
