We took on 14 inch ammunition. we sent a landing force to recreation grounds for drill i went with this landing forces which consisted of three capacities of blue-jackets and one company of marines. Companies from all the ships of the six division were sent as none. the chiefs of the Oklahoma. this race was for two miles and our crew won by about three quarters of a mile.
