It was the only real naval battle through the war. The British tricked them, but the Germans soon found out and withdrew. Yet again the British had more losses then the Germans. -
Battle of Somme
The battle was five months long. Due to this battle the British lost 420,000 soldiers, 200,000 French soldiers, and 500,000 German soldiers. This was all to gain 25 miles of land. -
Treaty of Brest-Litovsk
The Russians signed an armistice with Germany. The terms were rough, Russia had to surrender Poland, the Ukraine and other regions. They also had to pay 300 million roubles. -

In the French town of Redonthes at 11 am the armistice was signed. World War 1 was now over. Everything could go back to normal and people could be happy again.
