Seven Years of War
England declares a war against France, also known as The French and Indian war. With France trying to expand its boundries by including the Ohio River, British colonies were not impressed. Evidently ending in a scuffle over property between the French and the British. In the end, after a suprising 8 years, a peace treaty was signed leaving the colonies satisfied, for the time being. -

Sugar Act
A higher tax was added to comerical food to provide protection and defend when transporting the food. It took place in Britian and the money would do nothing but profit the country. -
England mistakenly abolishes slavery.
While a slave, James Somerset, was being captured and transported to a boat where he would trapped till they reached their destination. But while in the midst of transportation, with a little help, this disagreement was brought to the court room. In the end James Somerset was sentenced to freedom and so was every other slave. -
Boston Tea Party
An organized protest against the tax policy of the Britian Government. While boats full of tea shipments stayed docked on the shores of the Boston Harbor. No one would unpack the tea shipments because as soon as the tea touched Britian land, it was taxed. So a group of men called the Sons of Liberty dressed up as Indians and threw all the tea into the harbor. To not only prove a point but to send a message to all government officals. -
American Revolutionary War
A time when America wanted to embrace its independence in which it had to fight for. Thomas Jefferson came up with the Declaration of Independence which stated America's rights as an indivdual and the right to stand on its own. In the end America got what they wanted with the Treaty of Paris, ending the war. -
Ludwig van Beethoven
Ludwig van Beethoven, at the age of 12, composed his own composition called Piano Variations on a March by Dressler. It was actually composed a year earlier but published a year later. -
Benjamin Franklin creates Bifocals.
Benjamin Franklin created Bifocals by enginerring two wires onto a pair of spectacles. Creating a convienent way to see properly, hands free. -
First fleet of convicts sails to Australia
All convicts, for the first time were sent out of the country and not by Britian colonies. They were sent to Australia to live out their convictions. This was encougaged since the American Revolutionary war took place. -
"The Times" of London became published
Britian's continue processing the oldest running post of their time. Everyday the newspaper is distributed to the citizen to keep them informed. The newspaper used to be called the "Daily Universal Register" -
First Fleet
The First Fleet to Austraila arrived around January 1st carrying over 500 convicts filled with men and women. Also some families and workers were on the ship. (Ship: Charlotte) -
Bill of Rights
The first ten amendments of the US Consitution are renforced by the states. These laws represent cooperation between people and order to retain peace in ones community. -
Mozart Dies
An Austrailian composer dies at the age of 35. He was very talented a well known around the country. He died before completing his last compostion, Requièm Mass in D minor -
George Washington, Second time around.
George Washington was re-elected as president. He recieved 77 electorial votes. Enough to earn him a second term as president. -
Britain abolishes the slave trade
A complete end to slavary started in 1806 when parliment passed an act that eliminates the distrubution of slaves. All slavary ceased to act starting a year later. British goverment provided grants for lost money. -
Emily Jane Bronte was born
Emily Bronte was born July 30 in Thornton in Yorkshire. She is one of 6 children and has 4 sisters plus one brother. -

Loss of a Mother
Emily Bronte's mother, Marira Branwell Bronte, died in 1821. Started the chain of events in which the rest/most of her family fatally passed as well, -
Maria and Elizabeth Bronte
In 1825, in a case of severe illness, both Elizabeth and Maria Bronte died. They died of a combination of tuberculosis and typhoid fever. -
An Accidental Glance
Charlotte Bronte happened to "accidentlly lighted upon" the early versions of Emily's poems. She was quite impressed by what she saw and encouraged Emily to go out and show the world her talent. Eventually Emily did and brought her work in for publication. -
Wuthering Heights
Wuthering Heights currently in the creation process. It was finished and publised in 1847. At first no one knew it was written by a woman. -
Branwell Bronte
Branwell Bronte, brother of Emily Bronte, had become an achoholic and drug addict. Soon after his habbits got out of hand and he came home drunk almost every night. He died in September of 1848. -
Emily Bronte Dies
On December 19, 1848, after refusing to go to the doctor, Emily decided to stick through her sudden illness as it was sure to pass. But as she progessivly got worse, she could not help but stay perfectly the same. Until the day she couldn't even get dressed, she called a doctor. But died a few hours later.
