I was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico. The language that my family talked was Spanish so that's what I learned. -
We move
Move to San Juan, Puerto Rico. I go to a private school and beginning to learn English. -
Summer Camp!
I enrolled in Fort Buchanan Summer camp, where they only spoke English, so I had to practice more and learn along the way. -
The family moved.
My brother and uncles moved to Virginia, where my other uncles and cousins lived. This move helped me to practice even more my English. We often visited and my cousins only spoke English, and my brother was quickly acquired the language. So i began to comunicate even better with them. -
Graduation and summer courses?
I graduated and decided to take some courses in conversational English at the University of Sacred Heart. -
English teacher.
I started working in the Department of Education as an English teacher for kindergarten and special education students. -
New school
Moved to a new school and while this was happening with the practice I improved my written skills. -
New school, new project!
With this new project I hope to learn much more, since I'm not fully prepared to help my students.
