    Classical Worldview
This worldview went from about 500 BC - 500 AD. In this worldview, the people believed that morality is determined through rational reflection on virtue (ethics). A lot of the art in this period of time has something to do with fighting and standing up for what you believe in. You can see an example of determination in the painting shown.

    Middle Ages/Medieval Worldview
This worldview went from about 401 BC - 1500. This was a very religion-based worldview. The focus of this worldview was God and their relationship with Him. The art-work in this period was a lot of stained glass. The image shown is a good example of this.
  • Renaissance Worldview

    Renaissance Worldview
This worldview went from about 1300 - 1700. The Renaissance period, at least from my knowledge, was a time of heavy religious beliefs. I think this picture represents this idea of religion fairly well.
  • Enlightenment Worldview

    Enlightenment Worldview
This worldview went from about 1685-1815. This worldview/time period was very philosophical and musical. This piece of art shows this way of living quite well.
  • Romantic Worldview

    Romantic Worldview
This worldview went from about 1780-1850. Romanticism was an intellectual and artistic movement. This worldview was shown a lot in the artwork. I feel as though the paintings were very whimsical during this time period. It was a major change in the style of art and you can see it represented in this painting.
  • Victorian Worldview

    Victorian Worldview
This worldview went from about 1820-1914. This was another worldview that had a strong belief in religion. Their typical beliefs were centered on morals, hard work, success in business, and power. Most people at this time were Christian and valued Religion heavily. This picture shows an example of hard work and dedication. Because of the hard work, it became a success.

    Modern worldview

  • Postmodern Worldview

    Postmodern Worldview
This worldview went from about 1960-1990. This worldview was the transition between modern and Post-postmodernism. It wasn't necessarily a new art form but it was slightly different. This worldview used very bright colors in their art. It had a lot of pop art which can be seen in the art example.
  • Post-postmodern Worldview

    Post-postmodern Worldview
This worldview went from about 2000-Now. We still live in this worldview. This was and is a time of technological development. This picture shows a new way of thinking and a very unique art form. The picture reflects this worldview quite well.
