  • Warssaw surrenders

    Warsaw surrenders on September 27. The Polish government flees into exile via Romania. Germany and the Soviet Union divide Poland between them on the 28 & 29.

  • Invasion

    Germany invades Norway & Demark. On the first day of this invasion, the Danish king, Christian X, ordered his troops to cease fire, the Germans having conquered Denmark in one day.
