Two days after Germany declares war on Russia; Germany declares war on France. The former chief of the German Army was ready to fight. After that, France declares war on Germany readying there troops to fight too. -

On August 4, 1914, Britain declared war on Germany. Germany had troops in Belgium (which, they had nothing to do in the war) Both Britain and France a contract to defend Belgium. -

On May 7, 1915, a German U boat sank the Lusitania. It was in route form New York to Liverpool, England. There were over 120 Americans on the Lusitania. Many of them died. -
