Hours later over 2,400 americans were killed along with 21 ships being sunked and over 188 aircraft have been destroyed. The attack made a huge impact to American citizens with outrage that they decided to abandon the policy of Isolationism and declared war on Japan instead. This event was offical reason why United States came in World War II.

    Months after the Pearl Harbor bombing , The Japanese had forced a match between American and the Filipino prisoners of war. They marched within 63 miles with over 72,000 prisoners from the southren tip of the Bataan Pennisula in to Camp O'Donnell. The soilders recieved harmful treatment and poor conditions of the prisoners resulted in from a estimate of 7,000 to 10,000 deaths. The goal of this is to get 72,000 captutred American and Filipino prisoners.
