    the Nazis way to get rid of Jews, Hebrew name for holocaust. Men in concentration camps. The holocaust and Auschwitz are examples. United Nations is a non-example.

  • The First Natzi interman camp

    First used as a tactic by the Germans meaning "lightning war". Was used to devastating effect that incorporated speed and surprise. Invasion of Poland usign the Blitzkrieg tactics from Germany in September 1939.

  • Theater of War

    The European Theatre of World War II, also known as the European War, was a huge area of heavy fighting across Europe from Germany's invasion of Poland on September 1, 1939 until

  • Pearl Harbor

    Japan Attacked pearl harbor on Dec 7, 1945. The attack led to the United States' entry into World War II.

  • Battle of midway

    The first time in the pacific theater the allies took the initiative for a victory.

  • Internment in America

    The U.S. government ordered the internment in 1942, shortly after Imperial Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor. All Japanese Americans and Japanese looking people were forced to internment.

  • Operation Overload

    6 June – 25 August 1944, was the code name for the Battle of Normandy, the operation that launched the invasion of German-occupied western Europe during World War II by Allied forces.

  • Fat Man and Little Boy

    "Fat Man" was the codename for the type of atomic bomb that was detonated over Nagasaki, Japan, by the United States on 9 August 1945. It was the second of two nuclear weapons to be used in warfare to date, the first being Little Boy, and its detonation caused the third man-made nuclear explosion.
