Pearl Harbor 1941
On December 7,1941 lots of Japanese fighter planes attacked the American naval near Honolulu,Hawaii. Many American soldiers and sailors died in the attack and 1,000 were wounded. This was actually a surprise attack but Japan And The U.S. had been bumping heads for ages. -
Japanese invasion of China (1937)
Japanese began in 1931 with the invasion of Manchuria. Then continued in 1937 with a harsh attack on China. -
Rape of Nanking (1937)
During the Japanese war Nanking falls to Japanese forces. To break the spirit of Chinese resistence , someone ordered that the city of Nanking be destroyed. Much city was burned and Japanese launched. It became known as " Rape of Nanking". The Japanese butchered 150,000 male "war prisoners" & raped 20,000 women & girls of all ages. They were all killed in the process. It cause the Foreign nations to protest the actions of the Japanese troops & It caused the Communist Party of China to gain. -
Kristallnacht 1938
On November 9,1938 " Kristallnacht " nazis in Germany torched synagogues. It vandalized Jewish homes, school , and buisness. Also, killed 100 jews, Jewish men were sent to concentration camps. Kristallnacht conditions got worse. -
Germany's invasion of Poland
Some 1.5 million troops invade Poland all along its 1,750 border with German- controlled territory. The German bombed polish airfields. To Hitler, the conquest of Poland would bring Lebensraum, or "living space," for the German people.On September 1st 1939, Hitler, believing this promise was meaningless, invaded, and as a direct consequence, World War Two was born, due to the intervention of Britain and France. -

A German term for “lightning war,” blitzkrieg is a military tactic designed to create disorganization among enemy forces through the use of mobile forces and locally concentrated firepower.Rotterdam was bombed almost to extinction. Both countries were occupied. -
Battle Of Britain

A significant turning point of World War II, the Battle of Britain ended when Germany’s Luftwaffe failed to gain air superiority over the Royal Air Force.
