On September 3, 1939 Germany pushes their aggression to far, and France and Britan join the war. -

On September 7, 1940, at 4:56pm, Germany launches The Blitz (300 tonnes of bombs) and blows up a large part of London. Britan calls for help from its allies, and the Lend Lease comes to play. -

On March 11,1941 Congeress signs the Lend-Lease, which stated that they would provide weapons to the allied countries that were vital to winning the war. -
Germany invades the Soviet Union
On June 22, 1941, Germany invades their former ally, Russia, in an effort of war, during WWII. This does not end well for Germany. -
The Germans surrender at Stalingrad.
On Febuary 2, 1943, the Germans gave up after 5 months of battle with the Soviets in Stalingrad. The Russians after this event join other allies. -

On June 6, 1944, the bloody battle of D-Day took place at Normandy. This was the largest Amphibious assault ever to occur in a war. -
Yalta Conferance
The Yalta Conference lasted from Febuary 4, 1945 to Febuary 11, 1945. It was the major conference of World War II that had the 3 chief leaders, Franklin D Roosevelt of the United States, Prime Minister Winston Churchill of Great Britan, and Premier Joseph Stalin of Russia, who all got together to decide on how to defeat Germany. -
V-E Day (Germany Surrenders)
On May 8, 1945 Germany surrenders and World War II ends. This was the happiest day of the war because everyone new that WWII had come to an end. Hitler was dead, the Nazis were defeated, and best of all, The Holocaust had come to an end.
