Invasion of Poland
Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin teamed up and made a non aggression pact. Germany still had a huge debt to pay due to WWI. Hitler then orders for assault on Poland.They end up blaming Poland for the attack. This is said to be the start of WWII. -
Germany invades Denmark and Norway
Germany invades Norway and Denmark. The invasion was the first biggest impact on the allied forces that lost the fight and Germany secured the 2 countries and protection of iron supply from Sweden and had obtained naval and air bases to strike Britain. -
U.S starts to help Great Britain
United States starts to send cargo ships to Great Britain, sending supplies for the war. It helped Great Britain sustain in the war even when Germans find out. -
Barbarossa plan
The Barbarossa plan was a plain from Germany to invade Russia without declaring war, on the expectations that Russia would fall over an surprise attack (invasion). But it ended in a huge loss for Germany that now have to fight a 2 front war. -

Germany decided to exterminate all the Jews. They built concentration camps and there, they either forced Jews to work for them or die. Millions and millions of the Jews died due to the Final solution Plan from Germany. It`s most know as the Holocaust, an inhuman genocide. -

Battle of Midway was fought almost entirely with aircraft, planes. It was the first lost of Japan over 350 years. Japan lost their first line carrier strength and most of its best trained naval pilots. It was a huge setback on Japan invasion on the Pacific. -

After the allied forces invaded Sicily and got control of the island, the Italians got scared that they would be next. Italian council decided to overthrow Mussolini and Victor Emmanuel III ordered the arrest of Mussolini. A few days latter, Italy surrenders and join the WWII in the allies side. -

Roosevelt, Stalin and Churchill meet and it happens the Yalta conference, where the big 3 decides the fate of Europe, by diving Germany, deciding the costs and solutions for the small countries. They also decided that Japan if not surrender, are on `` utter destruction``. WWII is coming to the end. -

After the use of Atomic bombs from the U.S, Japan lost a lot of civilians and decided to surrender, because they din`t stand a chance against U.S atomic bombs. There were still Japanese people wanting to war, but most of Japan decided to surrender and accept the terms the Allied forces decide. After Japan surrenders, WWII officially ends.
