Battle for Britain
Germany commits many bombings in the country of Britain with the overall aim to weaken the country enough so that the Germans could make a ground attack. Much devastation was created through these bombings but all bombing raids ended on October 31st. -

Germany Attacks Russia
Germany takes the Russians by surprise, due to that Germany and Russia had a non-aggression pact with each other, by attacking them. Russia becomes allied with Britain and attacks Germany on the East front. Russia is offered aid from the USA similar to that of Britain. -
USA Joins the War
The day previous to this one was the day Japan attacks Pearl Harbor on Hawaii. The next day, December 8th, 1941, Britain and USA declares war on Japan. -
Italy Surrenders
Italy's former head governor, Mussolini was thrown out of office and the new government surrendered to the Allies and also joined on the side of the allies. The Italian army was then controlled by Germany, whom freed Mussolini and set him head over Northern Italy. This blocked the Allies advance. -

Allies launch an attack on Germany in Normandy in an attempt to begin freeing France from German Control. The German's falsely heard that the allies were planning on entering Calais, of which the Germans rushed their force to Calais. However it was essential that the allies capture a port first. -

Hitler, the once great German leader, kills himself in his bombproof shelter with his mistress, Eva Braun, whom both declared themselves married just before taking their own lives. -
