    Attacks On Civilians The Siege of Leningrad was when Germans cut Leningrad off from the rest of Russia. Leningrad was rained upon with bullets, destroying the magnificent places and churches, flattening them to the ground. Over 3,000 starved a day due to extremely small food rations. The siege lasted around 900 days and over one million died.

    Two bombs were dropped in two cities killing 226,000 people. Hiroshima being the first target, hoping that the Japanese would surrender but didn’t so they dropped a second bomb on Nagasaki which leads to the Japanese to surrender. Hiroshima was bombed August 6, 1945, and Nagasaki on August 9, 1945
