The Lusitania set sail on the Atlantic Ocean May 1,1915, making its 202nd trip. Sailing the ocean had become dangerous since the outbreak of WWI. German U-Boats stalked the British waters, looking for enemy boats to sink. Although ships such as the Lusitania were on the look out for German U-Boats unfortunetly there luck ran out. Captain William Thomas Turner had slowed the ship down because of fog. Eventually a German U-boat spotted them and they were sadly sunken.
