    Germany invaded France and captured Paris. British Prime Minister had tried to convince the Government that the U.S was coming with aid, but they didn't wait. The U.S had agreed to help them out but Government said no and that there wouldn't be enough time. When they were attacked 2 million Parisians had fled.

    Battle of Britain began
    Germany bombed London and the Battle began. 120 German bombers and fighters hit a British shipping convoy. Britians advantages were a really good radar system, and its aircraft. When the Battle began they were in huge need of aluminum and Government got some for them.

    The U.S gave Britian war supplies and old naval warships. In return Britian gave them military bases in Bermuda and the Caribbean. The Lend Lease was basically the U.S giving other countries military aid, or help in the war.
